Collect less. Use it for the stated purpose.

This notice applies to information submitted through the Join and Contact forms on norvana.ca.

What Norvana collects

Join collects name, email, location, an optional note, consent and limited anti-abuse metadata. Contact collects name, email, topic, message, consent, an optional public-use choice and the same anti-abuse metadata.

Why it is collected

Norvana uses submissions to understand founding interest, make relevant contact, review questions and criticism, and correct evidence. Contact messages remain private unless public use is separately permitted. With that permission, Norvana may quote a message without identifying the sender and must preserve its original meaning, including criticism or disagreement. Permission may be withdrawn before publication. Submissions are not used for advertising, resale, unrelated profiling or automated eligibility decisions.

Email handling and security

Submissions are processed by Cloudflare and sent through Twilio SendGrid to Norvana’s monitored inbox. Cloudflare Turnstile verifies form submissions to reduce automated abuse. Messages and consent records are retained in that inbox for the stated purpose; this site does not store them in a database or automatically delete them after a fixed period. Reasonable technical controls reduce abuse and accidental exposure, but no internet system can promise absolute security.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask whether Norvana holds your submission and request access, correction or early deletion, subject to identity verification and any legal retention duty. Use the Contact form and select the most relevant topic.
